CD Burner Premium Features

When you burn a CD, you transfer media files to a CD-R or CD-RW optical disc.

Premium disc burning features are marked with : Premium Feature

Premium CD Type

Premium CD burning gives you the ability to create MP3 CDs:

Description

MP3 CD  Premium Feature

MP3 Mode converts (as necessary) and saves selected audio files into MP3 format, creating a CD that can be played on standard MP3 capable players. RealPlayer uses the closest equivalent bitrate during file conversion. An MP3 CD can hold more files than a standard audio CD, but with lower sound quality.

The following options are specific to the CD Type you have selected:

Available Options

Audio CD

 Crossfade  Premium Feature

Overlaps the end of each track with the beginning of the next. Enter the number of seconds of overlap.

Audio Filters  Premium Feature

Adjusts the volume of each track so they all have the same volume.

 MP3 CD  Premium Feature

Drive Options

Select the write speed, or alternately, click Advanced Options to modify the CD Burner Preferences.

Disc Options

CD Name: Adds a name to your disc.

Create a multi-session disc:
Add additional tracks at a later time by not finalizing the disc.

MP3 CD Playlist Options

Adds playlists to the disc (M3U format) based on the clip info, one playlist for each artist or artist and album.

MP3 CD Folder Options

Organize MP3 files on the disc in folders, based on clip info about the artist and album. Select no folders, folders by artist, or folders and subfolders by artist and album.

You can also have playlists placed into their own folder.

Drive Options

Select the write speed, or click Advanced Options to modify the CD Burner Preferences.

Disc Options

CD Name: Add a name to your disc.

Create a multi-session disc Premium Feature: Add additional tracks at a later time by not finalizing the disc.

Data CD Folder Options

Do not organize files in folders..: Puts all files in the root, or top-level, of the CD.

Organize files... Premium Feature: Organize media files on the CD in folders based on clip info about the artist and album. Select folders by artist, or folders and subfolders by artist and album.

Additional CD Tasks

The following command is available in the Additional CD Tasks drop-down menu, and is also a Premium Feature:
