These preferences let you customize how you organize your saved and recorded media files.
Note: By default, stores your music files on your computer's drive C in the Music folder. You can change this location in Preferences: Library > File Storage .

Configure Columns |
With this preference, you can customize the way standard categories (such as or Music) appear in the Library.Current View: From the drop-down list, select the category that you want to configure.Columns: Select the columns (information fields) that you want to appear in the Display area of the Library. Move Up/Move Down: Change the order in which the columns are displayed in the Display area. Select a column name in the list. Then click the Move Up or Move Down button to move the selected name up or down in the list, moving the column left or right in the Display area.Show/Hide: Add or remove the selected column to the Display area of the Library. Column width: Edit the column width for the currently selected column. |

File and Sub-Folder Naming |
When downloading or saving...use these settings: Select to use your custom naming/filing scheme. When not selected, files are named by artist, , and track. |

Change Filenames...Select a file naming scheme for saved CD tracks. Use the drop-down menus to choose naming options. The preview area shows how files will be named. Click OK to save your selections and exit the dialog. Note: The preview is an interactive example of what a filename and location will be with the current settings. |

Change Sub-Folders... When files are stored in your default file location/folder, subfolders (based on artist, , and genre information) can also be created. Select from the drop-down list the number and type of subfolders into which you would like your music stored. The preview area shows how your files will be stored. |

Apply to Existing Media... Select a folder containing existing media files. Apply your custom naming or filing scheme to all the files in that folder and its subfolders. Note: This change will affect only files that have already been added to the Library. |

CD Title |
If no CD Info is available, will create a CD name for your , according to the settings you select here. Choose naming options from the drop-down menus. You can rename any file or change information at a later time with . |

Database |
The database for the Library is dynamically maintained and is always saved when is closed. If should ever be interrupted or closed abnormally, the database may be corrupted or lost. To protect your information from loss, can save or restore the database to or from a back up copy. can also automatically backup your media database (for purposes of ’s auto-recover and manual restore functions).

(For previous RealJukebox users only) Backup Security Key: Save a backup copy of your security key on an external disc or memory device. Restore Security Key: Use this option to restore your security key from a backup copy in the event that you are ever unable to play secure media files. |
