Description

Clip cache

To speed up playback of frequently used content, you can allow RealPlayer Cloud to cache the content, much like a web browser temporarily saves images and content. Click Settings... to access the following options:

Note: Not all content can be cached. The content provider must allow this ability.

Enable caching

(Default: On) Instructs RealPlayer Cloud to cache media files.

Cache location

Set the location on your hard drive where the cache file is created.

Empty clip cache...

Preferred Language...

(Default: the installed language of RealPlayer Cloud) If you prefer that an alternate language be displayed when available, specify your preference here by selecting it from the drop-down list.

Preferred Playback

Subtitles (Default selection) Some content has subtitles available in different languages.

Overdub track When available, audio substitution is played in the language set above.

Accessibility

Content providers can author content that uses RealPlayer Cloud accessibility features.

Note: If the clip has been authored without captioning or a descriptive track, these settings will have no effect.

Use descriptive audio...

(Default: Off) Plays descriptive audio track, when provided, to supplement graphic presentation.
