Edit a Playlist

To edit a playlist, you can add, delete, cut, copy, paste, or drag and drop clips to and from My Library or other playlists. (See Create a Playlist to create a new playlist, or Delete Clips and Playlists to delete a playlist from My Library.)

Add Clips to a Playlist

1. Open My Library.
2. Open the Organizer. From the Playlists category, select the playlist you want to edit.
3. In the sidebar Tasks area, click Add Clips. The "Add Clips From My Library" dialog opens.
4. From My Library (or select Browse My Computer...), select the clip or clips you want to add.
5. Click Add to Playlist to add the clips and close the dialog.

Delete Clips from a Playlist

1. Open My Library.
2. Open the Organizer. From the Playlists category, select the playlist you want to edit.
3. Select the clip or clips you want to delete.
4. Press DELETE on your keyboard, or right-click on the clip or clips and select Delete.

Copy Clips to Another Playlist

1. Open My Library.
2. Open the Organizer. From the Playlists category, select the playlist from which you want to copy clips.
3. Select the clip or clips you want to copy.
4. Right-click and select Copy To > Playlist. (Or select Copy To > New Playlist to open and complete the "Create a New Playlist" dialog that includes the selected clips.)
5. Select a playlist to copy the clip or clips into.
6. The destination playlist is opened in the Display area with the clip or clips added.

 

Change Clip Order Within a Playlist

1. Open My Library.
2. Open the Organizer. From the Playlists category, select the playlist you want to edit.
3. Drag and drop the clips to the order you want. Or, right-click a clip and select Move Up or Move Down.
