Preferences: Library > File Locations

Click , and select Preferences: Library > File Locations.

Use these preferences to:

Set up watch folders.
Change the look of the clip listings in the Library.

Save imported files to...

When saving or downloading media, RealPlayer automatically stores files in the default locations listed here.

Click Browse... to select where to save all new media files for clips in the Library. This includes files imported from devices, saved audio files (CDs, Mic/Line-in), Converted files, and downloaded (from the internet) media files.

Watch Folders

RealPlayer will automatically scan watch folders for media files that you've downloaded or copied with a stand-alone browser or other programs. It will then create clips in the Library for all of the new files that are detected.

Check Watched Folders.. every XX minutes	(Default: 10) Sets the time between scans. Setting this preference will also set it in Automatic Services.
	Add Folder: Opens a "Browse for Folder" dialog where you can select and add a folder to your watch list. Click OK to add the selected folder and to close the dialog. (RealPlayer can watch more than one folder.)
	Remove Folder: Removes the selected folder from the watch list.
Temporary Files	Click Browse... to select where temporary files (Streaming Cache, etc.) created by RealPlayer are saved.

Note: Not all services and features are available in all countries. Services and features will be added as they become available.
