The Sidebar

On a currently displayed Library page, the sidebar on the left shows you lists of commands and information related to the page. The lists vary depending on which view or dialog is open:

Some items that appear in the sidebar:

View: Lists the various views (Library, Music, Videos, etc.) for the Library.
Facebook Videos: If you connect your Facebook account, you can view a collection of your friends' videos from your Facebook feed here.
Device Name: If a portable device is connected, it appears here. The device contents are not added to the Library until you import them.
Cleaner: In the Music view, options are available to delete duplicates and improve the quality of your clip info.
Tasks: Tasks related to the currently displayed page are listed here.
CD/DVD: Opens the Library CD/DVD Display area.
