Preferences

To open the "Preferences" dialog, click RealDownloader Options (in the upper-left corner) and select Preferences.

What can I do with Preferences?

Preference	What it does
Default destination device	Shows the device currently selected for your downloads. (The device might be your PC.) Click to select a different device.
Save local files to	Shows the current location for files you download. Click Browse to change location.
Show the button	Controls how the "Download This Video" button appears when you watch a video: On page load... For [x] seconds when the page loads. Enter 1-99 seconds. (Default: 7 seconds.) Only on... Only when you mouse-over the video display area. Don't show... Don't show the button at all. You can still right-click the video display area and choose "Download This Video".
Delete original files...	Deleting original files saves storage space on your computer. Select this option to delete the original source file after a successful conversion. (Default: disabled.)
