Print Jewel Case Insert Premium Feature

This is a RealPlayer Plus 16 Premium Feature.

Access Print Jewel Case from the > File > Print menu.

A jewel case insert is the paper insert commonly found in CD (and some DVD) "jewel case" boxes. A typical insert displays front and back cover art, a list of tracks, and sometimes liner notes. With RealPlayer Plus 16 you can print jewel case inserts for any of your custom CDs or DVDs that you store in jewel case boxes.

Print a Jewel Case Insert

  1. Open the CD/DVD page.
  2. In the sidebar Tasks area, click Print Jewel Case.
  3. Edit and fill in the fields of the "Print Jewel Case" dialog. (See table below.)
  4. Print inserts.
  5. Cut out and fold the insert as marked on the pages.

Description

Front Cover Art

Browse... —   Locates and opens the JPG, GIF, or BMP file that you want to use for the front cover art. The image will be resized to fit. Optimum image ratio is a 1:1 square; for example, 342 x 342 pixels for a regular jewel case.

Back Cover

Use Text...  —  The titles and play length of all clips/tracks in the selected CD will be printed on the back cover. Limit is 30 titles.

Title

Enter the CD title.  The title will be printed in bold above the list of clips/tracks on the back cover.

List of Clips

Clip names as they will be printed, based on the current view in the CD/DVD page.

 

Use Back Cover Art — Click Browse... to locate and open an image file to use for the back cover art. The image will be resized to fit. Optimum image size is 342 x 342 pixels.

Booklet

Select to print an additional booklet page that lists all the tracks on the CD. (Tip: Use this to include track titles and lengths when you select art for the front and back covers.)

Preview

Views front cover and back cover (and booklet, if selected) before printing them.

Print

Prints the jewel case inserts as you have set them up.

Close

Closes the dialog.
