Real Radio

Accessed through Real Guide, Real Radio brings you streaming internet radio from all over the world. Create and edit your own preset station selections, browse for stations by genre, or search for stations by call letters, location, artists, or any other keyword.

Open Real Radio

1. Open Real Guide.
2. From the links on the left, select Radio to open the Real Radio home page.

3. On the Real Radio home page, radio station options are grouped and listed by genreType or category: Rock, Classical, Country, Sports, Movies, News etc.. Select a genre to view the available stations.
4. Select a station to listen.

Search Real Radio

The Search Radio function lets you search for internet radio broadcasts based on a variety of criteria, including station call letters, frequency, location, genre, or artist.

Use Basic Search

1. Type your keyword in the Search Radio field.
2. Click Search. The results will be grouped and displayed by category in the Media Browser Display area.
3. Select a station to play it.

The Basic Search is the default search method. To perform a more specific search, click Advanced Search to open the Advanced Search options.

Use Advanced Search

Advanced Search helps you search for radio stations based on specific features, such as genre or country of origin. It checks the same sources as the Basic Search, but uses more specific options to return more specific results.

1. Enter your search options:

Keyword — Enter individual search term(s). Search will look for an exact match, then continue looking for matches to individual search terms.

Genre — Searches for matches by genre. (Select from drop-down menu.)

AM/FM/Net — Searches for stations that broadcast on the AM band, the FM band, Net radio, or all. (Select from drop-down menu.)

Language — Searches for matching language. (Select from drop-down menu.)

Country/Region — Searches for country and region matches. (Select location from drop-down menu.)

City — Searches for city matches. (Select location from drop-down menu.)

State — Searches for state matches.

2. Click Search. The results will appear by category.
3. Select a category to display a list of clips.
4. Select a clip to play it.

To return to Basic Search, click Basic Search to the right of the Advanced Search header. 

My Radio

Get one-click access to your favorite radio stations by saving them to My Radio. You can save up to 20 stations in your Favorite Stations list.

Add stations to your Favorite Stations list, or edit your Favorite Stations list

1. On your Real Radio page, find My Radio and Favorite Stations, then click Edit. This opens the "Edit My Favorites" dialog. (You can also open the dialog by clicking open the Recently Played Stations list, then clicking Add to Favorite Stations.)
2. From the list of up to 20 Recently Played Stations, select a station you want on your Favorite Stations list, then click on Add. The selection is added to the Favorite Stations list.
3. To move a station up or down your Favorite Stations list, select the station and click Move Up or Move Down.
4. To remove a station from your Favorite Stations list, select the station and click Remove.
5. Click Save Changes to preserve your Favorite Stations list. Or click Cancel to close the dialog with no changes.

RadioPass Premium Exclusives

In addition to free radio stations, SuperPass and some other subscription members can listen to more than 90 premium stations and access other RadioPass exclusives. Premium stations deliver high-quality, commercial-free, digital audio. (See Real Services for details.)
