Advanced AutoPlaylist
When you create an
AutoPlaylist, you have the option of creating an advanced AutoPlaylist based on your own personal list of specific
clip information.
From the "New
AutoPlaylist" wizard (see Create an Autoplaylist), select Create
with rules (advanced). Define the AutoPlaylist selection rules
based on details you choose — year of release, date the clip was created, date
it was last played, whether it was saved with security on or off, and
more.
Create an Advanced AutoPlaylist
- Open My Library.
- In the sidebar under Tasks, select New AutoPlaylist. The "New AutoPlaylist" wizard opens.
- Select Create with rules (advanced), then click
Next to add and edit rules used
to select clips.
- Click Add.
The "Clip Selection Rule" dialog opens.
- Select a clip
property in the Select clips by:
drop-down list. (For example: Artist.) A list of criteria appears for
that property. Check properties
to use them as search items. Select the
NOT box if you want to exclude the checked properties. Click OK to add this clip selection rule to
your list.
- Repeat steps
4 and 5 to create additional clip selection rules.
- Click Next
when you have added or edited all your selection rules.
- Type the AutoPlaylist
name.
- Select or deselect settings under Options if you wish.
- Click Finish.
- RealPlayer creates your AutoPlaylist based on the rules and options you
have selected. Matching clips are added at random until the mix time limit is reached,
or all available matching clips are added.
Additional Options
- To modify or remove
a rule, select a rule and click Edit
or Delete.
- To remix your AutoPlaylist using the existing
criteria, click Mix
AutoPlaylist in the sidebar Tasks area.
Search criteria for AutoPlaylists are based on both CD Info and Clip
Info.
