Transfer Clips to a Portable Device

You can add clips to a portable device by transferring them from RealPlayer.

How to Transfer Clips to a Portable Device

  1. Open Burn/Transfer.
  2. From the Current Burner/Device drop-down list, select the device you want to use.
  3. In the sidebar, select a Clip Category (such as Music or Video), or double-click a category to display its content.
  4. Select the desired clips or playlists. Click Add Selected to Device to add them to the transfer queue.
  5. Click Start Transfer (if necessary) to copy the selected clips to your portable device.

Transfer from My Library

You can also transfer clips directly from My Library. To do so, choose a portable device from the My Library sidebar, then select Add Selected Clips from the menu.

Synchronization

Some devices synchronize your selections rather than asking you to start the transfer. If your device synchronizes, the transfer should start automatically when you add the clips and playlists to the queue. See Synchronize Devices for details.

Clips That Are Not Transferable

If a clip's media file is not available on a local drive or is a limited-access file that your device cannot play (such as a rights-protected file), the clip will not be transferred.

Clips labeled "Will Not Fit" will not be transferred. This indicates that the total size of the files being transferred to the portable device is larger than the device's available memory.
